Inspection
and quality
QFI meets a
wide range
of needs for
clientele
throughout
the
aerospace
industry,
and
inspection
is a large
part of
maintaining
the pride
and
integrity of
the Quality
Forming
name.
Routine
measurements
are taken at
critical
phases of
production,
and double
checked
prior to
shipping.
The Quality
Control
inspectors
have years
of
experience,
and exhibit
high
attention to
details,
helping to
ensure
reliability
and
conformance
to
specifications.
From the
basic tools
used for
decades, to
state of the
art
technology,
Quality
Forming
believes
that your
parts are
important.
For this
reason, QFI
has invested
in machines
that allow
for
measuring
your product
to exacting
specifications.
QFI's Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) allows for
accurate
readings on the
critical
dimensions of
your aerospace
parts. Housed in
a temperature
controlled
environment, the CMM machine can determine accuracy on your parts to a tolerance less than half the thickness of
a human hair.

Quality Forming has also invested in a portable Leica Laser Tracker tool. This
unit represents
the state-of-the-art in measuring tools.
Capabilities
include the
ability to input
specific measurement data
from your
parts into
computer systems for reproduction,
and allowing
inspection of even the largest parts where
they sit with precision
accuracy. This portable tracker also gives flexibility to
free production machines during post production
measurements. More pictures
