QFI has two full-time CAD/CAM engineers dedicated to ensuring highest client expectations for production are met.  When your engineers approach Quality Forming with a part design for fabrication, QFI's specialists review the designs carefully for production purposes.  Intellectual, creative, and technical expertise are then leveraged to take the part from your drawing board to a complete product, following your specifications while maintaining cost efficiencies and ensuring short lead-times.

Compatibility and reproduction  
Modern high-end CAD/CAM computers, and the latest releases of industry standard programs such as Catia and Mastercam ensure that your files are handled efficiently and accurately for production.  Additionally, two-dimensional blueprints can be converted into electronic models through a digitizer, and existing prototype components can be sampled through QFI's in-house Brown & Sharpe Coordinates Measuring Machine (CMM) in a temperature controlled environment.  Recently, QFI  acquired a new portable Leica Laser Tracker to allow for precision electronic measurements in the shop area to ensure maximum data integrity, as well as performing 3 dimensional measurement acquisition.

ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations)
To comply with ITAR, all QFI engineers and other employees are carefully screened to ensure that your ITAR regulated parts, as well as non-ITAR proprietary, gain the full intellectual protection deserved.  The Quality Forming pride in craftsmanship extends towards protecting you and your designs, and a full-time information technology specialist takes an active role in ensuring your data remains confidential.
